**Salary**: £12.25 per hour

St Aubyns is looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join the team full time at their nursing home in Sidcup.

We are looking for both day and night care staff.
- Shift Patterns are - Early: 8am to 2pm, Late: 2pm to 8pm, Long Days: 8am to 8pm and Nights 8pm to 8am.
- Full Time is 37.5 hours over 5 days, including alternate weekends

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centred care to residents in all aspects of their daily living.
- Support residents at mealtimes in accordance with their individual needs.
- Ensure the environment including shared areas, is maintained to a high standard; ensure areas are decorated as rooms become vacant and the whole environment is checked regularly.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the friendly team, contributing fully and undertaking all reasonable work instructions promptly.
- Understand personal responsibilities regarding Health and Safety at Work legislation, particularly in relation to moving and handling of residents and fire safety and evacuation procedures.
- Take care of equipment used to carry out tasks, including cleaning and advising on any faults or the need for maintenance or replacement.
- Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks by assessing risk and having due regard for personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors and staff.
- Take an active interest in your personal and professional development by contributing to supervision and appraisal meetings, team meetings, and participate in training sessions.
- Adhere to company and local policies/procedures.
