MSM aerospace fabricators is a leading manufacturer that specialises in hydroforming and welded fabrications. As a result of continued investment and expansion, they have an opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join the company on a permanent basis.
As a Quality Inspector, you will be carrying out tasks such as quality control laboratory testing, patrol inspections, Final inspection ensuring that all product meets the agreed quality standards as detailed in drawings and specification and other tasks to ensure that company is meeting all of its inhouse and regulatory standard requirements.
To be successful within the role, the postholder will have a good understanding of technical specifications and quality management standards associated with the industry (i.e. AS9100 / ISO 9001), have carried out a relevant engineering apprenticeship and have experience in an aerospace fabrication and welding environment including the repair of fabricated aircraft assemblies
The ability to use Vernier, CMM and other scientific measuring equipment is also an essential requirement to be considered for the role.
Further information about the role:
- Day shift
- Hours of work 37 hours Monday to Thursday
- Holiday Entitlement 5 weeks + statutory or public holidays which fall within your normal working pattern
- Attractive Pay rates and overtime rates (level dependant)
