**Package**:£60,000 plus car / car allowance

With a National network of branches our client is a leading distributor of insulation and construction supplies in the building materials sector.

The National Account Manager will manage key accounts in the Merchant Business Sectors to maximise their sales and profitability. They will develop profitable business and increased share at designated builders merchant accounts and engage the Regional andBranch Management in enacting these specific plans.

They will develop, review and manage delivery of the above by having close and regular reviews with the relevant branches. They will represent our client at various building sector events and grow the profile of the company in line with the overall sectorstrategy - especially with Builders merchants.

Reporting to the Merchant Development Director.

- Ability to sell strategically at a senior level and to develop and enact specific account plans.
- Influence and engage with internal branches and key departments to deliver these plans.
- Manage and prioritise time to achieve objectives.
- Communicate and report at a senior level internally and externally
- Attention to detail in pricing, especially into the retail sector.
- Drive and ambition to fast track and progress career development.
- Development of contacts with suppliers to influence strategic goals.
