**Job Purpose**:
The global strategic change leader plays a key role in ensuring global and regional strategic initiatives and projects achieve their intended objectives on time and in budget by increasing colleague adoption and usage. In addition to traditional change management practices, the role will also utilize a variety of disciplines, such as project management and process improvement, to augment their effectiveness in transforming the way the organization operates and ensuring broad adoption of the change efforts. Global strategic change leaders maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance through the creation and implementation of change management strategies and plans. The role also serves as coaches and mentors for senior leaders and executives so that they can successfully fulfill their role of change sponsors. Success in this role is achieved by influencing and working through others in the organization.
This individual contributor position requires an appropriately skilled individual who is self-motivated and is able to transform a vision (which often starts as ambiguous concepts, project ideas, etc.) into reality within an overall strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supports change management at the organizational level to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and proficiency with changes that increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results
- Manages the organization's change portfolio and monitor for change saturation
- Facilitates strategy, process, project and change management planning sessions; create and monitor plans and manage the completion of assigned projects
- Supports changes to organizational design and definitions of roles and responsibilities
- Supports the design, development, delivery and management of communications
- Quantifies engagement impacts and communicate results to the business through the project's executive sponsor
- Conducts impact analysis, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
- Provides input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs
- Applies a structured methodology and lead change management activities to support adoption of the changes required by an initiative or project:
- Creates actionable deliverables to support the change management levers: communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching, training and resistance management plans
- Completes change management assessments
- Identifies, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Identifies and manage anticipated resistance
- Supports and engage senior executives and leaders
- Consults and coach project teams and impacted management
- Creates feedback loops to evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Integrates change management activities into project plan
- Defines and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Coordinates activities with project and IT teams and other specialists
- Acts as coach and mentor to the change practioner and champion network communities
- Facilitates role and project-based change management training as needed to support specific projects or programs
- Provides tracking and facilitates lessons learned sessions and surveys for continual process/program
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- Solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral communication and active listening skills, local language and English
- Demonstrated ability to work within and across leadership levels to facilitate successful change
- Demonstrated ability to coach and influence the behaviors and attitudes of individuals throughout the change process
- Proven ability to identify and perform appropriate process analysis and successfully present the case for change to a variety of audiences
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure and in ambiguous situations
- Organized with an inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Possesses problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Team player who possesses strong consulting skills with the ability to collaborate and influence others
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Strong project management skills and understanding of the tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- Change management certification or designation
- Ability to lead/facilitate meetings, workshops and trainings sessions
