**Overview**
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners to thrive.
Your play and communication skills will be essential in managing daily activities and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
**Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring all children are cared for appropriately.
**Skills**
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is essential.
- Knowledge of nursery practices and the EYFS framework is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills would be an advantage.
