Information about the HGV Class 1 Container Driver role:

- Regular Monday to Friday night work
- 10-12 shifts on average
- Skeleton Trailers
- National Collections
- 40-60 hour average working weeks
- Some overtime opportunities available
- Based near Junction 9 M42
HGV Class 1 Container Driver rates of pay & hours:

- Monday to Friday
- £16.00 ph hours worked 06:00 - 18:00
- £18.00 ph hours worked 18:00 - 06:00
- No break deduction
- Overtime paid at £22.50 per hour after 8 hours daily
Requirements for the HGV Class 1 Container Driver role:

- Experience with 20ft - 40ft Skeleton trailers is ESSENTIAL
- Port cards will be an advantage but not essential as can be provided
- Valid CE Licence held for at least 6 months
- Valid CPC & Digi tacho card
- Excellent communication with the transport office regarding timings and delays
- Commitment to an ongoing role
- To complete a practical driving assessment, trailer familiarisation and SSOW induction
