We have an opportunity available for **Facilities and Warehouse Operative **to join our Facilities team in **Daventry. **The role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm. In this role you will perform a wide variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance and warehouse activities (e.g., recycling of waste, operate recycling baler, joinery, plumbing, painting, cleaning, FLT duties etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.

**As our Facilities and Warehouse Operative your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities will include;**
- General and semi-skilled maintenance and warehouse activities (e.g., recycling of waste, operate recycling baler, joinery, plumbing, painting, cleaning, FLT duties etc.)
- Perform minor repairs and assisting/supporting with major repairs of all buildings and equipment
- Maintain upkeep of all recycling duties
- Maintain the warehouse and external yard to a clean, tidy and workable manner
- Complete weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment, maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Communicate any significant or recurring faults identified with equipment, fixings and fittings to the Facilities Manager
- Assemble, dismantle, and repair office furniture as required
- Replace faulty or damaged equipment, fixings and fittings
- Install and un-install appliances when required
- Assist in unforeseen emergency breakdowns that may occur during working and after hours

**Our ideal Facilities and Warehouse Operative will have the following skills / experience;**
- Previous experience of general recycling and cleaning duties
- Previous experience in Handyman or DIY duties
- Must be literate and numerate
- Ability to use initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Awareness of health and safety regulations
- Full Driving Licence (not essential)
