Job Title: Accounts Administrator
Department: Accounts
Reports to: Accountant
Summary of Position
Your duties will include documenting invoices, uploading time sheets, balancing the daily cash etc. You will also be required to update accounting databases and report any financial discrepancies to management. To ensure success as an accounting administrator, you should possess financial acumen, attention to detail be able to process a high volume of finance-related data swiftly and accurately.
**Responsibilities**:
Maintaining files on account receivables and updating records as required.
Managing the flow of petty cash by recording all monetary transactions.
Updating management on any financial discrepancies found during tax filing or invoicing duties.
Archiving financial documentation and updating accounting databases on a monthly or annual basis.
Adhering to best practices in accounting, as outlined by industry experts and espoused by the company
Administration Support
Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, excel and Sage
An understanding of financial processes such as bookkeeping.
Basic maths skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good organisational and time management skills.
The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
The ability to collaborate with co-workers, clients, and suppliers
Hours of Work:
16 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Day to Day
- To present Diglis House Hotel to prospective clients
- To ensure all work is accurate and up to date
- Work to agreed Company and Hotel service excellence standards and procedures.
Reports
- To provide accurate reports on a weekly activity undertaken and activity for the future, including on specific software
Hotel Activity
- To support and attend all planned training activities
- To actively promote service excellence
- Be a role model for all employees by demonstrating behaviours and work ethic expected of all Diglis House Hotel employees
- To support the Hotel management of day-to-day activities, especially in accordance with Fire, Health and Safety regulation and employment legislation.
Additional Responsibilities
- To implement and support all Diglis House Hotel initiatives and programmes as requested
- To be present at all major events held at Diglis House Hotel as and when required
- Any other management requests.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
