**Your New Role**
Reporting to the Senior Manager Design, we are looking for a Designer to be responsible for the implementation, execution and maintenance of design elements for creative work assigned to the department at WBD Sports, on and off-air.
You will develop and implement creative graphics from title sequences, studio show brands, promo
and on-air graphics, studio design, to platform imagery. You are comfortable following brand guidelines and presenting design ideas that are fresh, strategic yet always on brand.
**Role Accountabilities**
- Assisting with the pitching, creating and delivering projects across WBD Sports.
- Supporting Senior Manager Design to deliver world class creative and implement design strategy across the channels and platform.
- Facilitating the production and delivery of creative design elements for the WBD Sports channels to ensure these comply with the highest standard, brand guidelines, is editorially compliant and within deadline.
- Assisting with the management and mentoring of junior and freelance designers.
- Working closely with Promo Producers to create dynamic, visually memorable on-air promotional campaigns.
- Liaising with third parties to ensure deliverables are on brand and produced to a high standard.
- Playing an active role in brainstorming or idea generation to conceptualise world-class, innovative ideas that deliver successful solutions. Communicate ideas and thoughts.
- Generating useful, usable ideas across all existing and emerging digital platforms.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- A hands-on approach to the work
- Experience of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator) and
Cinema 4D
- A fast eager learner who is self-reliant, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- A good communicator with an excellent command of English
- Awareness of the latest creative technology and trends
- A collaborative ‘One Team’ approach
- A fearless, boundlessly creative and relentlessly attentive to detail
- Ideally a good knowledge of sport and a passion for television
