**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, ensuring that all dishes are presented beautifully.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service periods.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent service by assisting with plating and serving meals when required.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods and techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with the ability to work well under pressure.
