We are excited to be able to share with you a new Peer Support Worker role within our IPS (Individual Placement and Support) team.

Do you want to role model recovery and utilise your own recovery journey to inspire hope in others?
If so this role may be just what you're looking for
The IPS service helps people with mental health problems to find and sustain paid employment.
The evidence-based approach was developed in the USA in the 1990s andis now used across the world, while international clinical trials have confirmed its effectiveness.
Within your role as a Peer Support Worker you will be able to share your own valuable experiences of how you overcame any obstacles to achieve your own career goals and how you continue to move forward in your journey of recovery offering support and inspiration to others.
As an integral and highly valued member of the IPS service you will be working alongside the Employment Specialists who are based within the Community Mental Health teams and the Early Intervention in psychosis service (CAMEO), as well as in Primary Care.
**Please note the base for this role can be flexible across the county and working from home when not seeing Peers is also possible.
