**The Night Support Worker Role:**

As Night Support Worker, you will handle small caseload of 4-5 residents to address their physical, emotional, social and behavioural needs; and help them progress towards independence.

You will be responsible for supporting our residents to move from hostel living to their own independent accommodation. In addition, you will ensure the accommodation is properly maintained and take an active role in the upkeep of the physical spaces ofthe accommodation.
- This job is rota based that requires young people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. It also involves working with shift work pattern to include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure that our clients have full staff support duringtheir most difficult times._
- Upon appointment to this role, your job title shall be referred to as **Night Progression Coach**._

**What will ideally support your success in this role?**

You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Experience of working with young people or those who have experienced homelessness.
- Able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures
- Commitment to working in a manner, which promotes diversity and equality ensuring that everyone is treated with respect and dignity and no one, suffers from discrimination.
- High level understanding of professional boundaries and ability to maintain boundaries
