Weekend Care Worker Assistant

Good verbal and written communication skills as well as a caring nature is required but previous experience working in a care role is desirable but not essential. Good organisational and time management skills are very important. - **Please note**:_ As this role involves giving care to clients in their own home you **must** have a driving license and have access to a vehicle with business insurance. **Main Duties & Responsibilities** - Ensure the highest possible levels of care provision are maintained at all times. - To undertake all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Right at Home at all times - Liaise closely with the Care Manager at all times. - Duties will include personal care to allow Clients to maintain their personal hygiene, appearance and physical comfort. - Assisting in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snacks. - To provide assistance with other tasks of daily living which may include cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of their environment, shopping, laundry and bill paying. - To assist Clients to take medication as identified in their care plan. - Participate in team meetings, staff events, attend any training provided by the company and reviews as required. - Remain compliant by regularly completing online training - To work as part of a team with colleagues - To work in accordance with the weekly work schedule and maintain timely records. - To provide social support, talking and listening to the Client, helping them to maintain contact with friends and family and other contacts in potentially isolating situations. - To contribute to the safe moving and handling of Clients to maximise their physical abilities and mobility. - Act on your own initiative and exercise good decision making skills. **YOU MUST HAVE VALID RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK AND CURRENTLY BE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY.** "HCA" or "health care assistant" or "home worker" or "home care worker" or "home help" or "home care assistant" or "home care" or homecare or "home carer" or "care assistant" or "care worker" or carer or "companion" or "care giver" or "caregiver" or "support worker" or "supportive care" or domiciliary or "personal care" or "live in support" or "live-in support" or "retail" or "cleaners" or "administrators" or "receptionist" **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: £14.00-£16.80 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Company events - Company pension - Employee discount - Health & wellbeing programme - Referral programme - Store discount Schedule: - Every weekend - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Performance bonus Work Location: On the road
