**Duties**:

- Adhering to the provided Company processes and procedures
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using approved manual handling techniques
- Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
- Ensuring you have the correct stock per delivery and correct client details
- Driving the vans safely to make deliveries and collections
- Arriving in good time at the depot and/or collection points to load and unload the vans
- Implementing the safety check before driving the company vehicles before departure
- Calculating the appropriate routes to take to ensure that all requested deliverables are received at the arranged time
- Liaising with customers and clients at the drops and collections
- Performing safety check and damage checks on returning stock
- Maintaining and cleaning the stock to our high standards
- Working with the Company, when required, preparing customers orders with multi drop deliveries
- Working with other members of Company staff
- Completing and following procedures of Company Health and Safety
- Keeping the vans and warehouses tidy and clean

**Experience**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in driving commercial vehicles such as vans, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, school buses, forklifts, or shuttle buses is preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions and terrains
- Strong communication skills to interact with passengers and team members effectively
- Experience with lifting large and heavy items a plus
- Interest in furniture or woodworking an advantage

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.50 per hour
