Are you passionate about creativity and supporting adults with learning disabilities? Caritas St Joseph’s Pastoral Centre is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team and assist with our Dance programme.
**About the Role**:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in empowering our students to learn, grow in confidence, and express themselves through creative activities. Working alongside our dedicated tutors, you’ll ensure every student can participate fully, learn in a supportive environment, and be treated with dignity and respect at all times.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support students inside and outside the classroom, promoting inclusion and independence
- Assist tutors in delivering engaging and creative arts sessions
- Provide tailored support to individuals, including help with communication and accessing materials
- Contribute to class planning and student evaluations
- Work in line with the Centre’s ethos and safeguarding practices, including Health & Safety and POVA procedures
**What we’re looking for**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in supporting people with learning disabilities (desirable)
- Team player with a flexible, proactive approach
- Experience or qualifications in creative arts (desirable)
- Understanding of and respect for the values of the Catholic Church
