We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a **Veterinary Receptionist at Beech House Veterinary Surgery.**

**Location**:Radcliffe, Manchester

**Contract**:6 Month Fixed Term Contract

**Hours**:18.5 hours per week

**Shift Pattern**:Monday - Friday between 08.00 - 18.30 (over 3 days on a 5.5-hour shift) with a 1:4 share in the Saturday rota (on a 8-hour shift)

**About the role**:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Registering new clients
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

**What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist**:

- **Previous Receptionist experience is essential**, veterinary experience is a plus
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
