Edge Careers are currently recruiting for an experienced Slinger Banksman in Kendal / Cumbria. The position is working on a New Build Commercial Development and is for duration of the scheme

Initially this is for one day holiday cover, but around about April Time they will be looking for additional banksman for 12 months, so this could be a foot in the door for the right person.

Our client is a reputable Building Contractor and they are building a retirement / care home. We are looking for someone who is reliable, that’s a team player to join their onsite team.

Duties will mainly include banking the tower crane, assisting with the lifting operations (loading & unloading), managing the movement and safe direction of the Crane around the development. You will report into the site management team and make sure all movements are done to upto health & safety standards (precise/clear & easy to understand hand signals)

The Slinger Banksman will require
- CPCS Card
- Own PPE
- x2 Checkable References
