About the school

This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of schools in the Burnley area that are well established and inclusive for students that can range from Reception to Post 16. You will be able to work within committed teams who provide supportive and nurturing environments for all students. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be confident in supporting children with barriers to learning including:
Autism
Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Experience in dealing with challenging behaviour.

To be considered for the role of Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant you will:
Experience is vital for this role, as we need to obtain recent professional references.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Relevant experience in the past few years working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
