Christmas Elf

Part of the North Pole has been transported to the Tower Centre in Ballymena to create the most magical Christmas ever. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly elves to help Santa, and his Chief Elf, to help make the grotto experience truly magical for visitors, both young and old, from the moment they enter the grotto. Santa wants to help create lasting memories for families visiting the grotto and needs a team of his trusty elves to help him do so We are looking for outgoing, confident elves who enjoy working with children and truly embrace the excitement of Christmas. Elves must also work well as a team player and be passionate about helping to make the grotto experience special for customers...oh, and be able to name each of Santa’s reindeers of course Your responsibilities: < Prepping the grotto for customers each day < Managing ticket enquires and entertaining people in queues at the grotto, ensuring timings are kept to < Overseeing grotto activities < Ensuring the experience is truly magical for every individual < Communicating with the wider grotto staff to ensure the grotto experience runs smoothly < Keeping the grotto tidy to ensure it is a safe environment for customers < Speaking to both children and parents to answer any questions and make the experience special < Following health and safety procedures < As well as having a brilliant relationship with Santa (obviously) it is prefered that you also have prior experience of working with children. < You must be confident in communicating with both children, and adults, and able to think on your feet should a difficult situation arise < You will also need to have some experience on dealing with members of the public. < Full training on the grotto and its elements will be provided < You will be required to wear your elf uniform, this will be provided for. **Job Type**: Temporary Contract length: 1 month Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - Ballymena, BT43 6AH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 12/12/2024 Reference ID: Grotto2
