**Power Delivery Program Leader**:
The role of the Power Delivery Program Leader is to lead client and technical development in the Power Sector. You are responsible for supporting sales, business development/client relations and technical development with an emphasis on data centers, renewables, and utility work and particularly Electrical Engineering. You will:

- Assist in the development and management of our Power offering in EMEA
- Follow and make recommendations on how the market is shifting and how HDR’s offerings should shift with the market. This is done through the execution and development of initiatives for EMEA in collaboration with the Resources Business Group Manager and Sector.
- Collaborate, coordinate and communicate with your peers in Power and across other Business Groups within the organization to grow the Sector

**Primary Responsibilities**
Your primary responsibilities will include and not be limited to:
**General Duties**:

- Managing project delivery and quality
- Establish client and market relationships that grow the business
- Develop scope of works, cost plan and agree deliverables, i.e. reports, specifications and drawings scope for all projects within the team.
- Grow the Power team, including participation in and execution of recruiting strategies
- Understand the services HDR can provide and collaborate across the organization
- Maintain excellent client relationships and contacts to achieve high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Manage client’s expectations and promote a team approach.
- Monitor and control project progress, design variations and project financial budgets.
- Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects.
- Implement Company Health and Safety. Ensure all designs respond to the CDM regulations.
- Ensure Quality Management System ISO 9001 and 14001 are adhered to.
- Participate in operational and project-related meetings

**Team Management**:

- Lead, develop and manage teams in collaboration with the Sector Leadership, including resource management, contract staff, third-party appointments and quality management
- Motivate yourself and manage staff to build coherent high performing teams. Set objectives, monitor performance, coach and develop staff to optimise their potential.
- Implement management and administration systems (timesheets/expenses etc), co-ordinate holiday leave within team.
- Carry out staff Personal Development Plans in accordance with the procedures. Report any staff performance problems to Resources Business Group Manager and agree corrective action. Identify and implement all training/CPD requirements of staff within their team.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Extensive technical experience, especially in designing and managing projects, ideally a minimum of 10 years of industry experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in project management with limited supervision, including monitoring of contract staff or third-party appointments would be desirable.
- Good knowledge and use of appropriate project and design analysis software.
- Experience in the same or similar position is desired
- Competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- The ability to project a positive and professional attitude and motivate a team
- Educational qualifications to a degree level or equivalent are desired.
- Chartered Status in chosen discipline preferred and business qualifications if not already achieved.
- experience Personable and a ‘can do’ attitude with resource management
- Able to establish rapport and good working relationships within the project team and with Clients
- Desire and ability to travel abroad (not too frequently), i.e. for factory tests, site surveys etc. on an ad hoc basis
- Leadership and people management skills and experience.
- Able to work as part as a team and collaboratively and co-operatively

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum 2 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
