Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we’re on the lookout for a Neighbourhood Lead to join our newly formed team.

As our Neighbourhood Lead, you’ll mentor, motivate and develop a team of Community Housing Officers and strive to deliver an outstanding customer experience and market making service. You’ll support and assist in the development, coordination and maintenanceof all arrangements relating to Safeguarding Adults and Children and deliver a responsive and sensitive service to those who are at risk. Understanding the external environment and the challenges and risks that face JJH, you’ll support customer involvementby promoting resident engagement and respond to feedback in a timely manner, always striving to improve customer satisfaction.

As Neighbourhood Lead, you’ll take ownership of service performance and take action to resolve problems first. You’ll drive efficiency and value for money, through effectively managing budgets you are directly responsible for and through contributing tocontract management. You’ll operate as a technical expert in an area of the service, being a champion and sharing your skills in line with legislative, regulatory and JJH policy requirements.

Our Team

Our team is really lovely (if we don’t mind saying so ourselves). We’re led by our Regional Neighbourhood Manager, and you will work with likeminded people using the most recent up to date technology. As well as providing support to the organisation, wesupport each other too. We work hard but we also like to have fun

About You

We’re looking for someone who either holds a Level 4 CIH (chartered institute of housing) qualification or equivalent, or someone who is willing to work towards this. You’ll have experience in a similar role, leading a dispersed team, and be able to demonstrateknowledge in housing management across all tenures. A great communicator who puts customers at the heart of everything you do, you’ll enjoy working at pace with colleagues across the business and like making decisions.

A natural leader who has an effective coaching style, you’ll be able to address concerns when team members are not able to and be comfortable when it comes to giving constructive feedback. You’ll be able to support or manage projects and be adaptable andopen to change.
