To be successful as a Platform Lead you should have experience with:

- Engineering Excellence & Leadership: Proven experience managing MarTech platforms (SFMC, Adobe, Tealium, GA4, CDPs) and delivering engineering solutions within complex enterprise domains; hands-on engineer with a passion for modern technologies and methodologies, including experience in Java or equivalent.
- Cloud & Scalable Infrastructure: Expertise in AWS core services, infrastructure as code; skilled in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure platform infrastructure, with a passion for working in complex technical domains.
- DevOps & Automation: Strong experience with DevOps tooling and data orchestration technologies; committed to automation, efficiency, and delivering high-quality, developer-friendly solutions.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

- Extensive experience in deploying and operating SaaS products on premise with deep understanding of SRE principles and expertise in leveraging monitoring and observability tools
- Understanding of Agile Software Engineering practices and experience of working in dynamic teams following scrum development practices. Proficient in implementing SDLC practices.

**Purpose of the role**

To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.

**Accountabilities**
- Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
- Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
- Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
