**Position**: Part-Time / Adhoc Site Health and Safety Inspector
**Reports To**: Project Manager
**Location**: Various Sites

**Job Summary**: The Site Health and Safety Inspector will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. This role involves conducting regular inspections, managing permits, and maintaining records related to safety equipment and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct weekly inspections, including MEWP inspections, scaffolding checks, and tagging access equipment.
- Manage permits for high-risk areas such as roofs, switch rooms, and confined spaces.
- Maintain plant lists by performing weekly checks and recordings of equipment like grinders and chop saws.
- Keep PPE registers updated, ensuring compliance and recording who has what equipment.
- Ensure certification compliance for harnesses and regular calibration of electrical tools.
- Liaise with the project coordinator regarding Live RAMS, updates, required modifications, and specific task RAMS.
- Monitor safe working practices, ensure the supply chain and DES install teamwork within RAMS and their specifications, and focus on electrical safety.

**General Requirements**:

- Flexibility to work part-time or on an ad hoc basis as needed.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications for specific job functions.

**Qualifications**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in construction site health and safety.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
