Central Employment are working with a leading Interiors brand as they look to recruit a Digital Marketing & eCommerce Manager, joining their senior management team. Operating from their County Durham HQ on a hybrid basis, this a highly pivotal role as thebusiness expands its online reach and new brands.
**Purpose of the role**:
We are searching for an exceptional digital marketing & eCommerce lead who can build and deliver impactful, growth focused marketing plans. You’ll bring a mix of creativity, commercial sense, and resourcefulness to the role. You’ll have tried and testedmethods and processes to implement for our plans to succeed and for others to be able to effectively support and contribute to them. A strong planner and organiser, you’ll also have entrepreneurial spirit and get stuck into the doing. Importantly, you’ll havethe passion to make it happen, jump-in and deliver to support our mission of becoming the home of decorating for the UK and beyond.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Create, develop, and implement an overall marketing strategy for the business which is focused on delivering growth and building the brands
- Lead how we market the brand update
- Lead the launch and promotion of a new product
- Ensure marketing activity is executed in line with our brand guidelines and identities
- Nurture and develop our existing audience segmentation to support personalisation of our customer journey
- Support the development and execution of our marketing campaign plans
- Develop our influencer / collaborator engagement strategy and implement
- Own and execute our paid marketing strategy
- Develop and own our PR approach and execution
- Collaborate with on how our marketing strategy and plans need to feed into our channel content plans
- Support development of our MarTech stack and utilisation of these tools to automate and enhance the effectiveness of our marketing efforts
- Provide market and competitor insights to support development of our plans
- Ensure we execute on tactical / responsive marketing opportunities as required in alignment with our marketing strategy
- Measure and monitor key marketing KPIs
**Experience required**:
- 3/5 years+ previous experience in eCommerce marketing roles within SME’s
- Digital marketing experience including social and influencer marketing and brand development
- Strong understanding of eCommerce strategy, optimisation, and best practices
- Proven ability to design and deliver marketing strategies that achieve agreed goals
- Knowledge and experience in content and technical SEO, paid and organic search
- Ability to balance commercial and data driven decision making with creative flair
- Strong attention to detail/high level of accuracy
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Able to co-ordinate and manage internal and external resources
