**Job Title: I**nfoSec Risk and Governance Specialist**
Contract Type: P**ermanent**
Salary Range**:up to £46,000 depending on experience**
Location**:Eastleigh - Hybrid working**

Reporting into the Education, Capability and Governance (ECG) Manager, you will ensure adherence to risk and governance processes across the wider business. You will have the opportunity to support the development and delivery of InfoSec Education plans,including training, awareness and communications materials, alongside supporting all information security risk management activities.

There is a requirement that you have a minimum of 1 - 5 years' experience working within the InfoSec environment with experience or strong understanding of Information Security frameworks, policies and risk management. You will also have the opportunityto support the development and delivery of InfoSec Education plans, including training, awareness and communications materials.

Consideration will be given to individuals finishing a Cyber Security specific qualification and are able to demonstrate a strong desire to be in, and a deep understanding of, the Information Security Industry.

**Main Responsibilities as InfoSec Risk and Governance Specialist**:

- Manage on the information security management framework and supporting risk framework and exception process
- Provide interpretation of the Information Security standards to support complex decisions or those which set new precedent.
- Support the ECG Manager in developing and delivering information security reporting processes and information security strategy and annual plan.
- Create and Implement procedures as necessary to comply with the Group security policy.
- Act as a Liaison where required to Ageas Group including both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain the Information Security's service catalogue.
- Support the business monitoring and governance using tools that include DLP, ObserveIT, CASB etc.
- Support the production of management information, metrics and trends for Information Security.
- Monitoring and respond to changes in legislation and accreditation standards that affect information security
- Assist in Information Security incidents as required, and where necessary, support Compliance and HR investigations into data breaches or systems misuse.

**Desired skills and experience required as an InfoSec Risk and Governance Specialist**:

- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing with good questioning and listening skills in order to identify customer requirements.
- Demonstrable experience in confidently delivering progress and results to key stakeholders by use of meeting and presentations.
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts to all levels of customer.
- Demonstrable ability to design compliance frameworks, develop procedures, policies and assurance activities
- A sound understanding and/or practical experience of Information Security processes, policies and tools.
- Background in ISO27001, CISM, CISSP, knowledge of Data Protection / GDPR, Information Security Forum, CiiSec
- Understanding of information security controls in particular those relating to business process, governance, risk and education
- Understanding how policies and standards impact operations and balan**ci**ng security needs with operational reality.
- Ability to work well in a team and possess strong decision-making skills
