Family Contact Worker

An amazing opportunity has arisen with Swan Family, for a Family Contact Worker to work in Coventry. This will be within our Children and Family Contact Centre and out and about in the community.
**Mainly weekdays 3-6pm and weekends as these are our busiest times.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Transport and escort children and young people.
- To undertake and observe supervised contact for children and their families.
- Risk managing and intervening as necessary to safeguard children.
- You will have good report writing skills to factually describe observations within the contact session within the agreed time scale.
- To attend and participate in planning meetings or reviews, as required.
- Ability to prioritise safeguarding and be able to identify and respond to levels of risk
- To attend supervision and training courses in relation to the tasks, as required.
- Calm and approachable nature
- Great attention to detail with regards to report writing
- Able to deal with challenging situations/resolve conflicts
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding measures
**Essential Requirements**:
- **You must hold minimum level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People or equivalent**:
- A current DBS for working with adults and children - we can assist you
**Desirable Requirements**:
- A driving licence and access to a car is desirable but not essential
**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
