**Autism Teaching Assistant - About the role**:
You would be working on a 1:1 basis with a student who has an autism diagnosis in and out of the classroom to ensure they are fully supported across their school day.
The Autism Teaching Assistant role would allow you to build up a fantastic school based experience whilst positively impacting the academic and social progress of a primary student.

**Autism Teaching Assistant - This role will offer you the opportunity to**:

- Work on a 1:1 basis with a student with an autism diagnosis
- Support across EYFS - KS2
- Work alongside the SENDCo and class teacher
- Gain invaluable classroom experience
- Put your SEN knowledge to perfect use
- Prior SEN / education experience
- Autism knowledge
- Compassionate and patient matter
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
- Good availability, being able to work under short notice
- Can work independently and as part of a team
