**The Roehampton Day Nursery & Pre School** are looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team. This nursery embodies Little Garden’s ‘Nurture, Care, Inspire’ ethos, and prides itself on creating a calm and nurturing environment, empowering the children to grow in confidence as they progress through their early years’ journey. We are a 50 place nursery for children ranging from 3 months - 5 years, which is open 7.30am-6.30pm all year round.
**Nursery Practitioner main responsibilities**:
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
- Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
- Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures
**Nursery Practitioner requirements and skills**:
- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable

**Salary**: From £23,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- London, SW15 4JY: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification (required)
