As General Manager at Unipart Logistics you are wholly accountablefor all safety protocols, operational processes, contract profitability and cultural adoption of Unipart’s philosophy on your site, delivering world-class standards in cost, quality, and delivery, and will focus on activity in support of our strategic “GoDigital, Go Green, Go Faster” growth and development.
A full ‘360’ role, you will manage all aspects of the Distribution Centre covering inbound and outbound processing, warehouse management, transport and distribution management, internal quality control, returns processing and stock integrity, safety, budget,Unipart Way, and compliance.
**General Manager Key Responsibilities include**:

- Lead compliance for Health and Safety, Environment, Sustainability and Quality standards
- Define and deploy operational and commercial objectives, to deliver the business plan and growth
- Monitor and measure performance to maximise operational efficiency and profitability
- Effectively manage resources and skills to deliver tactical and strategic objectives
- Lead and sustain the Unipart Culture
- Lead the customer engagement agenda to facilitate long term partnership and account growth

**General Manager Requirements**:

- Experience at operating at a senior level in a 3PL environment
- Proven leadership, management, and engagement skills to inspire with energy and passion within and across your teams
- Solid experience in defining, planning, managing and sustaining both organisation and operational change and transformation projects
- Resilience in ability to work under pressure in a challenging and constantly changing environment, evidenced by previous experience in a fast changing, volume driven working and customer environment
- Customer engagement and commercial acumen - proven effective relationships with client / customer
- IT and Digital, including sound understanding of WMS systems and automation
- Financial acumen, including full P&L responsibility for both Open Book and Closed book operating models
- Lean and CI: experience of managing efficiency, quality, and risk

**Salary**: Up to £82,000 per annum plus car allowance
