**Company Description**

Great Bear is a leading UK ambient business providing nationwide contract logistics and supply chain management services to a range of companies across a variety of sectors.

We are currently recruiting for a **MHE Trainer** on a full time, permanent contract based at our Markham Vale 1 site in **Duckmanton**.

**Shift**:4 on 4 off Days 06:00 - 18:00

**Salary**: £12 p/h and OT x1.3
- Ensuring that all site training requirements are completed and recorded in line with Company policy.
- Assisting and advising in the investigation of MHE related accidents.
- Actively managing MHE Operatives to minimize skill fade and risk from inexperienced and infrequent users.
- Ensuring hazards are correctly identified and control measures introduced to eliminate the risk.
- Ensuring that the skill level and competence of all MHE Operatives is satisfactory.
- Ensuring that refreshment training is completed within specified time frames.
- Assisting in creation of sufficient risk assessments of MHE activities.
- Ensuring that assessment training is completed following the accidents.
- Completing site MHE induction for the new MHE Operatives.
- Effectively leading site Health & Safety culture.

**Qualifications**
- RTITB or ITSSAR accreditation is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
