Trainee Machine

Abatec are currently looking for Trainee Machine Operatives for our client based in Bridgwater.

The role is fast paced and requires a keen attention to detail and great dexterity skills. You will be responsible for efficient and safe running of the packing department to meet targets and the required high quality standards whilst minimising waste and downtime.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Packing orders, making sure that all products are in sellable condition and properly packed.
- Ensure that the correct number of trays are packed per carton/liner as per packing specifications.
- Ensure each carton/liner label is clearly stamped with the MO’s information, date, and the label is correctly applied to the carton.
- Ensuring that warehouse is always kept tidy.
- Operating machinery and packing products
- Following all health and safety guidelines

**Rotating shift pattern - Monday to Friday**:

- Week 1 - AM 6am-2pm
- Week 2 - PM 2pm-10pm
- Week 3 - Nights 10pm-6am
