**What you will do**

You will be responsible for;
- Working across both sites, ensuring sufficient stock is unpacked, priced and merchandised to maximise sales when offered to the customers. This will include assisting with deliveries.
- Prepare and replenish ladies fashion including lingerie, footwear and homeware stock on the shopfloor floor for monthly sales
- Ordering stock using Searchline and Opera systems
- Providing excellent customer service, along with outfit building and add on sales
- Bra fitting (training will be given)
- Ensuring accurate pricing of all goods received in preparation for monthly sale
- Merchandising stock on the shop floor in an attractive manner to optimise sales and keeping to brand standards
- Protect and maintain company property (including stock, equipment and premises) within Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain a well organised shop floor at all times
- Identify strong and weak sellers each month and report to Damart Stock Manager
- Suggest areas of improvement that would increase productivity and sales
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure the best offers are in place for the sale
- Opening and closing the shop on occasions

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for a hard working, self motivated individual to work in our Bingley Shop and Bradley Mill. You will be self-motivated, have a positive attitude, be passionate about the customer and have a keen interest in fashion. Experience of ladies fashion would be ideal. Working within the store team, you will possess strong product knowledge, provide excellent customer service, and have great attention to detail. Damart operates a bi-monthly sale for customers to purchase Damart (out of season products) products at a discounted price. You will need to be flexible as the role includes weekend working.

**Experience and qualifications**:
You should have a good awareness of general health and safety procedures, the role is physically demanding, including frequent lifting and handling of stock. You should have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with ladies clothing, lingerie and shoes. Some awareness of retail or sales is beneficial.
