Our depot based in Normanton are currently recruiting for experienced Transport Supervisors to support our operation. You will play a vital part by supporting management teams & the depot as a whole to ensure work is complete in a timely and precise mannar,ensuring drivers are in line with legislation guidelines and carrying the correct paperwork with them at all times.

**Hours of work: **4 ON 4 OFF, 6am-6pm, unlimited O/T available

**Rate of pay: **£32K P/A

Transport Supervisor duties:

- Organise and manage busy transport operation
- manage driver and vehicle compliance for the depot
- Ensure daily briefings and debriefings are carried out
- Ensure all company systems are used correctly and in accordance with instructions issued
- Managing the allocation of work, planning motivating and coaching, absence & return to work interviews, conduct and capability issues.
- Manage the departure of delivery vehicles to help drivers manage a busy multi-drop schedule
- All contact with customers you should be courteous, professional and efficient
- Demonstrate a desire to exceed customer expectations and deliver excellent standards of service
- Develop & maintain relationships with all customers
- Suggest resolutions or escalate complaints, as appropriate
- POD Management

**Requirements**:

- ‘Right To Work’ in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Hardworking, positive and flexible attitude to work
- Knowledge of all Transport Legislation
- Good PC skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to encourage and influence a team
- Must have FLT license
