**JOB TITLE**:On Call Executives

**REPORTS TO**:Head of Staffing

**LOCATION**: Colchester branch with a view to work remotely in time.

**SALARY**: £9.50 to £11.50 per hour-Dependant on shifts

Due to continued growth, Better Healthcare Services are looking for On-Call Executives to join our Colchester branch to support our agency On-Call team.

**Key duties will include**:
The role of the on-call executive will be to work in our busy out of hours team providing an essential service supporting our care team and care users to deliver high quality care.

You must be IT literate with good organisational and communication skills. An understanding of the care sector and scheduling would be an advantage but isn’t necessarily essential as full training will be given.

You will monitor and support carers where delays occur by communicating with clients, providing reassurance and solutions.

You will also liaise with other healthcare professionals where needed, keep systems and records up to date and act with the utmost integrity in this vital community service.

**We are looking for**:

- Understanding of care/support work
- Working knowledge of using Call Monitoring systems
- IT skills and general office administrative duties within health and social care
- Commitment to ongoing training requirements
- Demonstrate effective and supportive communication skills
- A commitment to working flexibly according to the changing needs of the service, including On-call duties to include taking out of hours calls from the On-call Team should the need arise and provide assistance for cover of Service users
- A quick thinking individual who can remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Variable rates of pay between £9.25 & £11.50 per hour depending on theshifts which will be between 6.30am-8.30am and 5.30pm to 10.30pm weekdays, 6.30am to 2pm or 2pm to 10.30pm weekends and bank holidays.
