Tour guide

Based in the beautiful town of Whitby, you will work as part of a small team to run behind the scene tour to the general public at Whitby Distillery.

You will be passionate about what you do and keen to build a strong rapport with customers. You must have the confidence and passion to represent Whitby Distillery in an enchanting way, ensuring the customers leave with complete satisfaction.

No prior knowledge of Gin or Spirits is necessary.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and welcoming customers to the tour
- Preparing and giving presentations
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Keeping the store fully stocked
- Operating cash registers and point-of-sale machines
- Enforcing distillery security and health and safety procedures and regulations
- Must be over the age of 18 years old.

**Skills & Person Specification**
- Excellent conversational skills with a knack for storytelling
- Personable, humorous disposition
- Outstanding organisational, time management, and improvisational skills
- Passionate about Whitby Distillery
- Ability to work on weekend

**Desired skills**
- Familiar with Whitby so able to offer sightseeing advice
- Interest in artisan food and drink
