RSW International Limited is an Importer/Exporter of a diverse product range including Pet products, Houseware and Kitchenware, Baby & Nursery product as well as being one of the country’s largest importers of Christmas Crackers.
We have a permanent, office-based, vacancy for a Sales Administrator at our head office in Rochdale.
**Reporting to**:Sales Office Manager
**Salary**: Dependant on experience
**Hours**: 37 per week, 08.30- 17.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.30 - 16.30 - Friday - one-hour unpaid lunch break and two fifteen-minute paid breaks daily.
**Purpose of the Role**:
**Responsibilities**
- General sales administration including order taking, processing, filing, and requesting/sending samples.
- Attend Trade shows - x 1 per year, this involves travel & overnight stays.
- Reliable, timely and effective administration support for our field-based Sales Managers.
- Order management and new line form completions.
- Liaising with both existing and potential customers providing quotes, dealing with enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- General account housekeeping ensuring data accurate and up to date.
- Coordination of information from all departments involved in the sales process.
- Willingness to learn and become an expert user of the business' bespoke computer system.
- Provide cover and support in the showroom as and when necessary.
- Continually striving to ensure customer needs are met, building trust and strong client relationships.
**Knowledge / Skills / Experience**
- Experience of working in an office environment is essential.
- Computer literate with proficient knowledge of excel.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are key to this role as there will be a requirement to liaise with customers on the telephone.
- Attention to detail, always ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise work efficiently and work to agreed timescales in an organised manner.
- A self-starter that enjoys operating at a fast pace and enjoys working under pressure.
- Important to have a can-do attitude and a drive to consistently improve ways of working - if there is a better way, find it and implement it.
- Comfortable working off own initiative with the ability to manage and develop own workload.
- Previous experience in/knowledge of ecommerce sales would be an advantage.
- An interest or some experience in marketing would also be beneficial.
