This is an amazing opportunity for aspiring network engineers to gain the experience and skills and to earn money whilst doing so. There is also a full-time role available for a successful apprentice to continue following completion of the apprenticeship.
**Role overview**:
The IT Network Infrastructure Apprentice will work alongside our engineers to gain a thorough understanding of the equipment, installation, and maintenance methodologies.
**Responsibilities**:
- Network Cabling: cabling, termination, labelling, testing
- Audio Visual: removing legacy equipment and installing Interactive Whiteboards and Projectors
- CCTV: Assisting with the installation of CCTV cameras
- Access Control: Assisting with the installation of Access Control systems
- Wifi: Installing wireless access points

**Special requirements**:
- There will be an element of travel involved in this role therefore a full and valid driving licence and access to your own transport is essential
- DBS checks will be carried out prior to employment
**Working week**:
37.5 hours per week
**Entry requirements**:
You need to have 5 GCSE’s:
- Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D or above
**Important information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.
To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
