Grill Cook

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the grill station, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor food safety practices, ensuring all dishes are prepared in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by reporting stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in food preparation within a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, particularly grilling, is essential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £13.34-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
