We are looking for efficient, proactive, and adaptable **Warehouse Operatives** who have the desire to learn new things, are reliable with a great attitude to work and are keen to work within an ambient warehouse environment in **Newark**, for our electrical retail giant customer, Currys.

You’ll join us on a 4-on-4-off shift rotation (5 on, 3 off for 7-week peak period), working days or nights (dependant on position applied for) in our Regional Distribution Centre in Newark.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
The rate of pay for a Warehouse Operative starts from **£10.38 **per hour, up to **£10.63** per hour for LLOP Drivers and **£11.38 **per hour for FLT Drivers, there is also a night premium for night shift workers. In addition, we offer 21 days annual leave, as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.

We regularly run engagement events to celebrate our success and thank you for your hard, such as food and ice cream vans on site, competitions with prizes, easter egg hunts, summer fairs, a post peak party, Halloween celebrations and a full Christmas calendar (we’ve even managed to bag Santa for the day)

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Ensure stock is moved to the right location using appropriate methods
- Help to achieve own and department set targets for productivity and quality of work
- Comply with all the warehouse procedures, processes, and safe working practices
- Work closely with other departments and colleagues to ensure the overall smooth-running of the operation

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure to deadlines
- A good level of numeracy and literacy
- Team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills
