**Responsible to**: Head of Humanities Faculty

**Salary**: UPS

**Job Purpose**:To work closely with the Head of Faculty to develop the Geography Department provision to best meet student needs

**Location**: Slough, Berkshire

**Start Date**: September 2024

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver a robust Geography curriculum up to A level, ensuring educational excellence.
- Provide high-quality teaching, track student progress, and maintain discipline.
- Manage resources efficiently and contribute to departmental evaluation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and support school initiatives.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Qualified Teacher Status with expertise teaching Geography to advanced levels.
- Proven leadership in curriculum development and student performance enhancement.
- Strong organizational skills, data analysis proficiency, and ICT competency.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and a proactive, enthusiastic approach.

**Eligibility**:

- UK work rights
- Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain.
