Senior Finance Officer

Being part of a large finance function you will be part of a team who have excellent moral and always deliver to a high standard. The role is busy and requires someone who is keen to take on more responsibility with strategic and planning for the organisationas well as administering complex financial projects.

You will be part of a longstanding and knowledgeable team with an opportunity to progress and develop your skills within accountancy and supported with CIMA/ ACCA studies

**Description**

Duties and responsibilities of the Senior Finance Officer you will:

- Monitor income and expenditure and ensure funding is in place
- Analysis of compliance, procedures and meet audit requirements
- Financial reconciliations and journals
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to discuss funding and company finances
- Support the wider finance team and a business partnering service to the wider organisation
- Work closely with Budget holders and staff to achieve objectives against financial measures

**Profile**

To be successful as the Senior Finance Officer you will:

- Be working towards CIMA/ ACCA or similar
- Experienced in reconciliations and monitoring cash flow
- Driven and ambitious to become a qualified accountant
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills dealing with non financial staff members
