**About the Position**

Veesupportservices Ltd is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented healthcare assistant to join our team in Portsmouth. This position will work closely with the doctor and other staff members to provide support and care to our patients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with, medications, and other patient care tasks.
- Assist with patient care, including but not limited to medication administration, charting, and physical exams.
- Maintain patient charts and documentation for patient care.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate with patients’ families about their patient status.
- Personal Care
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the ongoing well-being of patients.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the supervising team leader or manager.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and react quickly to situations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Portsmouth: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
- Home care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
