We have a rare opportunity for an Aftersales Controller to come and join our Halifax team.

You will be part of a team that thrives by driving the standard in customer care. Reporting to the Service Manager, key objectives an aftersales controller will have in their role includes supporting the Aftersales Management Team in ensuring the smoothand efficient running of the workshop, in order that the department meets its targets and the company it’s objectives. Managing the workshop loading programme, maintaining steady workflow through the workshop and keeping good customer relations at all times.There will also be a focus on ensuring correct health and safety standards/procedures are followed.

Main Duties:

- To maintain a good customer relationship at all times.
- To raise pre-order instructions and then job cards and give to Workshop Manager/Team Leader
- To liaise closely with the team leader to ensure jobs are completed as the customer requires and that the customer is always kept informed about the progress and completion or delays.
- To follow the correct procedures for warranty and repair and maintenance
- To ensure that the filing system is kept up to date and in an orderly fashion.
- To ensure that authorisation for jobs has been obtained from the customer wherever it is necessary.
- To update customer communication portal and ensure it is maintained at all times.
- To ensure all service administrative procedures are applied and followed at all times.
- In conjunction with workshop manager & staff strive for 100% quality in all areas of the business.
- To assist Workshop Manager with queries from customers, colleagues, sub-contractors and MB ensuring they are handled speedily as possible and prompt action taken to stop reoccurrence of unnecessary queries.
- To ensure that authorisation for jobs has been obtained from the customer at all times either for initial job (i.e. order numbers) or for additional work to be carried out.
- To assist Workshop Controller to authorise & organise subcontract repairs and the supply of order numbers.
- To ensure that all staff adhere to company / MB methods of work.
