Bookkeeping Supervisor

**Mensis Accounting**is on the hunt for a seasoned Bookkeeping Supervisor to lead our Accounts team. If you've got a sense of humour, a customer-service focus, and a passion for building strong relationships, this role is for you

Based in beautiful Berkeley, Gloucestershire, you'll work closely with our Tax and Payroll departments and supervise a team of 4. Your experience and skills will be key in producing monthly management accounts, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliancewith filing deadlines. You'll be responsible for everything from reconciling balance sheets to processing VAT returns, pensions, and payroll.

**You'll need**:

- Proven experience as an Accounts/Bookkeeper Team Leader or Supervisor
- A talent for building strong relationships with clients and team members
- A deep understanding of bookkeeping and accounting practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Cloud accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, and/or Sage)
- A knack for VAT and CIS returns, and keeping up-to-date with payroll and auto-enrolment legislation
