**Job Summary**

**Job Title**: Assistant Gardener

**Reporting to**: Head Gardener

**Location**: Manley Knoll, Manley, Cheshire, WA6 9DX

**Salary**: Competitive, based on experience.

Manley Knoll is a private estate in the heart of the Chester countryside, with over 7 acres of gardens and 20 acres of woodland. We are looking to recruit a hands-on practical person who enjoys working outside in all weathers, and is a team player who has a passion for nature.

The job role will include working on the following areas:

- Vegetable Garden
- Pruning
- Lawn maintenance
- Strimming
- Hedge cutting
- Watering
- Building maintenance
- Use and maintenance of machinery
- Driving machinery and family vehicles when required
- Ensuring health and safety best practice is followed.

A clean driver’s license is required.

A good plant knowledge is preferred as is some experience of working in the industry.

We also are open minded for someone who is new to the role.

Job Hours are full time Monday
- Friday 8am-4.30pm, with appropriate breaks through the day.
