We are looking to recruit an experienced OT to support the Council's new hospital discharge process. You will be working alongside other occupational therapists within our SPAOT Team to support the discharge of Dorset patients from both acute and communityhospitals.

This position does contain an element of travel to fulfil the role.

Flexible and Hybrid working is available with this role with remote working but the role will require you to undertake visits.

You will be undertaking assessments within a hospital setting but there will be some community work in undertaking visits to customers homes or residential settings to support discharge and independence. Experience of multi-disciplinary working and workingwith our health colleagues is preferable. Promoting an individuals independence is paramount and a good knowledge and how we can use tech equipment to support this is required. This is an exiting new project within the Council and you will have the opportunityto contribute to this.
