Hard Landscaper

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure well-kept grounds.
- Dig, build, and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper soil preparation and plant placement.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties such as weeding, mulching, and planting seasonal flowers or shrubs.
- Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues that require attention or treatment.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design plans accurately.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular inspections and basic mechanical knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment.
- Ability to dig, build, and maintain garden features effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- A valid driving licence may be required for transporting equipment or travelling between job sites.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £17.00-£19.00 per hour
