The **Senator **Group is one of the UK’s largest design led manufacturers of contract furniture with manufacturing sites across East Lancashire and the US. Employing 1,300+ staff, we design, manufacture and distribute our innovative furniture products to over 70 countries to sectors including; Corporate, Leisure & Hospitality, Education and Healthcare.

We are currently looking to appoint a stores/warehouse function in handling raw material stock throughout the department, to adhere to departmental SOP’s and training, ensuring stock movement is done in the most efficient way.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Where required and trained to do so, operate stores fleet & equipment (FLT, VNA, PED trucks) in an efficient, accurate & safe manner.
- To accurately pick, when required any stock for delivery to production, ensuring stock is delivered according to schedule and delivery deadline guidelines.
- To maintain a high-quality attitude, protect from damage when picking/delivering stock, remember to put our customers first in everything we do.
- Communicate well with your colleagues, ensuring a team mentality is always adopted, whilst also being able to work on your own initiative.
- Keep working downtime to a minimum, ensuring downtime is kept to scheduled breaks.
- To ensure where required, parts are put away adhering to process, following the scanning process to ensure stock is accurate at all times.
- To maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the stores department
- To support continuous improvement in all areas within the department, to regularly look at ways of beating the competition.
- To champion and become the go to person for your area regarding all processes and procedures within stores.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable and conscientious.
- Experience in WMS picking systems/scanner/HHT process.
- Excellent numeracy skills, GCSE grade C or above.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team function.
- Flexible approach to working on various duties and tasks

**Working Hours**: 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday / 7am - 12.45pm Friday.
