**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the delivery of patient care by performing intake assessments and documenting vital signs.
- Provide medical administrative support, including managing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Administer medications as directed and assist with basic life support when necessary.
- Support patients in understanding their treatment plans and provide education on health management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency medicine and urgent care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures, including X-ray and OR experiences.
- Engage with patients across various demographics, including geriatrics and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) patients.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medical-surgical practices to enhance patient care.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred; familiarity with hospital medicine or trauma centers is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and outpatient services is advantageous.
- Experience with vital signs monitoring and medication administration is essential.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and support team collaboration.
