Statutory Reporting Accountant - This dynamic Global Bank that specialises in personal banking as well as wealth and investment management, has gone through a significant restructuring process over the last couple of years as its services have increasedand diversified. As part of this change, they are looking to recruit a Statutory Reporting Accountant to working withing their in-house finance team in London and be able to take responsibility for reviewing key accounts, complex accounting and producing theyear-end statutory accounts for the UK business as well as leading the external audit process and ensuring Board Audit Committee is updated for finance related matters. Key tasked include:

- Preparation and management of statutory accounts including consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
- Provide assistance, support and coaching to members of the accounting operations, branch finance team and other head office functions on accounting matters
- Involvement in month end / quarter end financial accounting closing process when needed
- Supporting the production of technical accounting papers, quarterly review of the key accounting judgements and preparation of accounting papers for the auditor
- Liaising with external auditors during the year end external audit process, engaging with auditors on accounting matters and solving audit issues.
- Implementation of new accounting policies.
- Involvement in projects, ensuring the accounting policy is taken into consideration when developing new or changed functionality and products.
- Responsible for coordinating and reviewing monthly financial reporting controls.
